2K have released a new developer diary chatting with some of the development team about their upcoming free roaming Mafia 2. The video looks at a bunch of cool topics, like having realistic gunfighting, how the powerful cover system combines with destructible environments to heighten gameplay, melee combat and context-sensitive finishing moves (like smashing someone's head against a wall if they're standing near one), and more.
