In the first new footage we've seen since last year's PAX (Penny Arcade Expo 2009), EA Realtime Worlds have dished up another trailer for APB (All Points Bulletin), their courageous upcoming GTA-esque persistent online game. For the newcomers:
Designed by the creator of the original Grand Theft Auto® (GTA) franchise, APB brings players into a living, breathing city where cash is king and territory equals respect. In a fight to dominate the expansive world of APB, players must decide which side of the law to abide by. In a classic “cops vs. robbers” scenario, players can be Enforcement, who take on the challenge of supporting and safeguarding justice, or Criminals, who operate against the law and any opposing groups by any means necessary.
Check out the new "Creation Conflict" gameplay trailer here on AusGamers.
A closed-beta on PC has been underway since October 2009, however no release date beyond "Early 2010" has been confirmed. Nothing has been heard about the previously-mentioned possible Xbox 360 version of the game for some time.
