From a news update on Steam:

Coming out this Spring for Left 4 Dead 2 is the brand new DLC "The Passing", which contains:

A Wicked Witch Bride!
A Gargantuan M60!
A Slashing Golf Club!
And Introducing The Fallen Survivor!
Meet 3 Left 4 Dead 1 Survivors!
New Game Modes!

Was that a typo? Game Modes? Didn't we mean Game MODE? Did we mean to include that "S"?!?!?

oh Happy Days this will be awesome I can't wait.. oh wait a second. Yes now I remember how excited I was on release before realizing that this wasn't a zombie shooter at all. No, this was a transparent, non-threating sock puppet shooter. I've seen more gore on dora the explorer.

I also remember Valve not caring about the state of the Australian version, and yes there is always good old appid 510 yet there's hardly anyone playing.

Don't really feel sorry for the people with the censored version, how-to-buy-uncensored-version articles and forum threads were all over the internet.

Probably give The Passing a go but much like L4D1 by the time any new content comes out I am over it. When they finally converted Death Toll and Dead Air to Versus mode I was over it 100%.

the passing will get me back into l4d2 for a little while. chet revealed in a interview a few days ago, that one of the original l4d survivors will die in the update.

eh, i havent even bothered to get left 4 dead 2. It's just over-rated zombie killing. Just like L4D...and that got old quickly.

trog maybe you could ask stinky to gift you a copy. as for the cc work around, it works for some people and doesnt work for others.

Just played my first game of l4d for months and got rage votekicked because I shot the car. oh the memories. good to see the l4d player base hasn't changed

You have to play with at least 1 friend so you have a majority share in the voting process :)

An unbelievable number of r-tards play l4d2 so people always expect the worst.

Whenever I played it was like: 50% of the time finding a server with decent aussies and 50% actually playing. Amazing the number of overseas people on 3FL, GS, and GA servers. Forget playing any of the latter maps of a campaign... everyone on the losing team has raged by then.

I reckon L4D is the best fun in the first couple of weeks when everyone is a bit noobish and doesn't know the maps. Now it's rush rush rush vote kick if someone shoots a close range boomer or gets charged out a window.

yeh agree. When you're basically a random playing with a bunch of guys that all know each other or even have been playing together for a few hours, it only takes one c*** in the group to get you kicked, even if you make just one mistake. One dude in this server was just looking for an excuse to kick me after he walked in front of me autoshottying a hunter and had a big whine about friendly fire. D***. I've never votekicked anyone that wasn't being a serial pest; I don't mind playing with noobs on my team - it makes it challenging and I realise that everyone has to start somewhere.
