We asked you a little while ago to vote on your game of 2009 from a variety of categories with a massive list of great games. Today we can finally reveal the results of your voting which equally reveals a few no-brainers among a few surprises.

On top of that, we had the AusGamers editorial staff also list their best for the year, and also listed our highest rated games as reviewed in 2009 (which is also revealing against the favourites). We feel this is a rare type of GOTY against what other sites offer, so check it out.

Come back in a years time for NS2 to be GOTY guys, even if it hasn't been released.

why would you buy AC2 for PC when it has that draconian DRM? i really wanted to buy it but wont until ubisoft gets rid of the DRM.

Well Rav I don't really care about it I'm more likely to put up with that than buy a console thats for sure, I'm always online anyways, you know... with modern tech and what not.

That said I will be getting the crack for it Day 1 even thought I've bought the game, just in-case a plane crashes and cuts my cable or w/e.

Pretty easily, I think it goes something like:

Step 1: Put AC2 disc in Xbox 360
Step 2: Play awesome game

Since it was made for console then ported to PC, it makes a lot more sense to judge the game on its merits based on the console version than the PC version anyway.

haha, and thats why i haven't been playing WoW too much, there are some fantastic games, especially ME2 and DA:Origins, these ones are keeping me from enjoying BFBC2 :(
