Disney have released a new featurette for their upcoming feature film Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, serving up a bit of a behind the scenes look at the creation of the movie and it's majestic setting.

Videogame to movie adaptations -- despite some financially successful ventures such as Resident Evil -- have still yet to produce anything really worthy of the source material, so it's great to see that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time actually getting the blockbuster treatment that such a long-standing game franchise deserves.

If you missed the debut trailer, you can still find that here.

Watch today's behind the scene's featurette aptly titled "Creating an Epic" right here on AusGamers.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, hits Australian theatres on May 27th 2010, directed by Mike Newell (Donnie Brasco, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Alfred Molina and Ben Kingsley,

As long as there's no kids in the movie it should be alright.
