I can honestly say, until I saw this trailer I was a bit cautious of Halo Reach, after all, Bungie had apparently walked away from the series, but for some reason they kept walking back in, and as a result, it started to seem like they were reaching beyond their creative means - or maybe just tired of the IP altogether.

Thankfully today's developer diary shows off a much more advanced game engine, some ambitious gameplay goals and reveals new information (such as the game being "sandbox"), all reiterating a clearly rejuvenated Bungie behind the wheel of their beloved franchise.
