So 2010 is here, and we realised we've been covering gaming news in Australia and around the world for over ten years now! We're pretty proud to have hit that milestone; there's not a lot of home-grown Australian gaming websites that are still around after this long.
We've been here watching the ebb and flow of the gaming scene over the last decade, and done our best to make sure Australians had the latest information about the greatest games - and other interesting things. In that time we've had literally millions of visitors, we've churned out up to thirty terabytes of data
every month as we make sure everyone can get the latest files as soon as possible, and we've tried to make sure gamers know The Truth about the latest games to hit the scene through our comprehensive review process.
We'll have more celebrations and self-congratulatory announcements later in the year while we plan a more formal tenth birthday online shindig - but in the meantime we'd like to thank everyone that visits AusGamers.com for their continued support, especially the forum crowd and old school QGL members, who still make up the core of the community.
For those interested taking a stroll down memory lane, we've whipped up a list of some of the biggest news stories that we've covered from the last 10 years.
Check out this blast from the past as we reminisce about such stories as the growth of Counter-Strike, the release of the Xbox and then the next generation consoles, the release of Diablo 2 and much, much more.

It's hilarious that people cared more about their own similarly themed thread's destruction than that of the WTCs.

Thanks AG staff, volunteers and other members who've made it all happen.
