Borderlands fans can already enjoy the game's first round of DLC (downloadable content), which introduces an entirely new area, new enemies, new weapons and more.
The Zombie Island of Dr Ned really needs to explanation; it's full of all the creepiness you'd expect with the stunning art style of Borderlands coupled with plenty of gore and the series' tongue-in-cheek narrative and story-telling. It also just happens to be available for all current supported platforms (November 24 - presumably U.S. time), so make sure you get into it.
Oh, and here's a trailer.

Better get it at that price before the publisher finds out and jacks it up to $40 AU

The GTA4 stuff looked pretty sweet too, though I haven't bought any of it yet.

Yeah same, not sure why they're releasing DLC already when there's still bugs to be fixed.

Just feeling lucky i didnt end up paying $50++ for it. That would of sucked.

Any game is shallow.
It's whether or not it is a good return for the $$$s in terms of fun.

Yeah, I haven't played Borderlands for a while, purely because of this. I find playing it alone pretty dull. But I found it to be a hell of a lot of fun when playing with a bunch of people.
