Old-school NES kids will love this, especially if you're somewhat bitter at the old Excitebike 64 debacle (it wasn't *that* bad, but lacked the original's charm), as Nintendo are showing off the new WiiWare update to the series which, keeps things decidedly original and nostalgic, keeping people like me happy.

The new video doesn't really reveal much other than a slight update to the game's sheen, the inclusion of updated, yet utterly original music and that it's essentially the same game - really not a bad thing.

Only 4 player? I was hoping they'd copy Bomberman Blast and support 8 players via 4 Wii Remotes and 4 GameCube controllers.
