Borderlands DLC Already Announced

We don't even have the game yet, but that isn't stopping Gearbox and 2K Games' Borderlands hyperbole. The marketing and media roll-out for the unique FPS/RPG hybrid has been consistent and top-notch, and today they've added to that announcing all-new DLC, arriving for the game later this year.
The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, is planned for release later this year for all available platforms for $12.95 (800 Microsoft Points). Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned (who is not related to Dr. Zed from Fyrestone) does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region. Players will have to work alongside Dr. Ned as they embark on a quest to cure the inhabitants of Jakobs Cove in this full-fledged expansion filled with new enemies, new quests and rare loot drops.
We have a few screens for the newly announced DLC you can view below.

Borderlands is due for release here in Australia and New Zealand on the 23rd October (PS3/360) and 30th October for the PC.

Wow, looks massively different from all the Borderlands stuff shown so far, as in, its at night, and not in a desert.

Though apparently the desert stuff is only the start of the game and theres heaps we don't know about yet? I hope thats the case, cos I've been playing Uncharted 2 and I've already seen so many of the cool cinematic sequences and levels in trailers and video clips that its been rather spoiled for me.

The DLC is going to be called Borderlands 2 and you're going to have to pay for it.

I've preordered this game on Steam, though I don't really know much about it. I saw it was pretty cheap, watched a video on Youtube, and decided to split the 4-pack with some mates. Hopefully it it turns out to be pretty awesome.

Only cost me $50 australian from Steam, much more preferable than dealing with CD Wow's bulls*** and then ending up not getting your game for a month or two because they've run out of stock.

i think they are all taken but just waiting on the confirm how much it costs then divided it by 4... however im looking at getting 4 pack of border lines if i can get enough ppl.... add me on steam
