Once fierce enemies, Microsoft and Nokia have teamed up in an effort to cut in deeper on the Smartphone market, directly throwing down a gauntlet to Research In Motion's Blackberry.
"This is giving some of our competitors -- let's spell it out, RIM -- a run for their money," said Nokia Executive Vice President Robert Andersson, to Reuters. "I don't think BlackBerry has seen the kind of competition we can provide them now."
The collaboration means most of Microsoft's key Office applications such as Word and Excel will now be made available on Nokia handsets among much more. Check out the full story
