Upcoming AusGamers Outage

Just a quick heaps up; AusGamers will be blinking offline in the near future for hopefully around 30 minutes for some scheduled maintenance. During this time please consult one of the other handful of websites for gaming news and information.

Maybe in the meantime you could join our fan page on Facebook; I'm giving away some old gaming-related bits and pieces over the next couple weeks.

Wait, whats the point of being a fan of QGL on facebook? maybe i'm no good at these things but i figure if i like the site i could probably just log on to the site and read it? Or is it one of those things that people can randomly add you as a friend because you quoted them once in a post?

I'm not very good at facebook (or the rest of those things).

Well its AusGamers, not QGL, so if you still distinguish between the two then you might not want to bother.

Basically the point of it is though its just another way for us to pimp our s*** - if you see something interesting on our facebook page its trivial for you to click it and share it with your friends (who might not be fans of AusGamers or readers of the site). Like our iPhone article for example; you might want to share that with friends of yours that have iPhones. So it means more eyeballs on our site.
