yes, he's just a dude that plays games. He's a poster boy for the hardcore gamers. I am much more interested by the involvement of the Woz in this than I am fatal1ty, from a technical perspective anyway - but having fat's name on it at least draw my attention to it (and now its in your brain)

I guess the point I'm trying to make (badly) is that you can't add amazingly awesome SSD to a system and get unlimited power without encountering new bottlenecks.

naturally you'll get your gimp machine here and there with insufficient ram installed or some crusty out of date cpu but assuming your cpu and ram are adequate by today's standards it's your hdd you'll be waiting for most of the time

Yeah, same here. My hard drives are starting to show their ages (I think 1 of them might be about 3+ years old now) and are definitely the bottle neck in my machine.
thermite: Yeah from this quote here:it does make it sound like fatlity is indeed working on the technical side of the fence and helping to design them, especially the "next generation expertise" bit so I see why you're asking too.
