The first day of E3 really blew us away beginning first and foremost with Microsoft's kick start to the revamped show. We followed that up with EA's pre show press conference and topped it off with the fine folks at Ubisoft. Unfortunately time is of the essence, so you'll have to stay tuned for more detailed write-ups when both Dan and myself can find a spare minute, so for now I thought we'd just post up bullet points of interest from Microsoft's event.
Microsoft- Rock Band: The Beatles will feature "All You Need Is Love" as exclusive to Xbox 360
- Left 4 Dead 2 will be a Microsoft exclusive (PC and Xbox 360)
- Final Fantasy 13 will arrive on Xbox 360 in 2010
- Epic revealed an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive called Shadow Complex
- Splinter Cell Conviction is a Microsoft exclusive (PC and Xbox 360)
- Forza Motorsport was running at 60fps, is exclusive to Microsoft and will feature 400 cars from 50 manufacturers
- Halo 3 ODST is looking very nice
- Bungie revealed another new Halo project to be released in 2010 called Halo: Reach
- Alan Wake looks awesome, is due in 2010 and is a Microsoft exclusive (PC and Xbox 360)
- Last FM, Facebook and Twitter will become available on Xbox 360
- InstantOn will offer full 1080p HD movies streaming directly to your 360 (so no downloading) and we'll be seeing it in Australia soon
- Hideo Kojima revealed Metal Gear Solid Raiden would be coming to Xbox 360
- Project Natal is one of the most ambitious and forward-thinking concepts in gaming - stay tuned for more info on this!
