The first concrete details about Assassin's Creed 2 have finally emerged thanks to a video interview from MSN UK with the game's creative director, Patrice Desilets. We've embedded the video for you below, but the main information to gleam from this is the team have recognised the repetitive issues with the first and (hopefully) addressed them and that, from the supplied artwork, the new character will be flying (clearly via a Da Vinci contraption). The information regarding the differences in the actual characteristics of the new guy versus Altair, are also really promising.

I love that they blatantly realise the weakness of the first game... wonder if you'll be able to seduce teh laydees as well?

I really enjoyed the original (although yes - it dragged towards the end).

The first one had a lot of promise and I thought it let itself down, got very boring. Hopefully the sequel will be a lot better
