Woo, this one looks like a doozy. Rockstar have finally lifted the visual veil on their upcoming open-world Western romp, Red Dead Redemption.

Developed by Rockstar San Diego, Red Dead Redemption utilises the Rage engine made famous by the Midnight Club and GTA series. We'll be seeing Euphoria implemented throughout the game (same as GTA IV) which, if you think about all the opportunities a Western can afford such a tech (horseback riding, running along trains etc), makes for some seriously cool ideas.

The entire video here is all in-game footage running off the engine, too.

Looks alright, I'll be getting it for some Western action, there's not enough. Still Juarez will be awesome!
