If you ever played Banjo-Kazooie on the Nintendo 64, you likely came across some weird eggs that you were then supposedly going to be able to use on the game's sequel, Banjo-Tooie.

For years there was a host of debate as to how this would work: Would a new piece of hardware be packaged with the game? Was it a memory card swap (which was anti-Nintendo stylez at the time)? Cheat codes? How? How? How?

Thankfully implementing the tie-in feature through Xbox Live Arcade, the new home of the Banjo series, it's easy as all hell. If you remember any of the above though, check out today's video showcasing the feature right here on AusGamers.

Bah. Completely annoying that such a feature existed, yet was never fully realised. (due to Nintendo pulling the rug under Rare's feet)

One day I'll buy an Xbox... (just to play BK3)

Still, they've left the Ice Key out completely.
