With the film out and doing the water-cooler rounds, it was only a matter of time before the game entered the same ring, only for the first time in a long time, it's arguable a licensed game has out-wowed it's silver-screen big brother.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine makes no apologies for its ferocity, and from the game's incredible opening cut-scene it's clear Raven Software have had a vision for the correct representation of Wolverine. Fans who've been waiting with baited breath to actually don the adamantium claws of the world's favourite mutant can finally do so and not feel cheapened by the experience - just don't go expecting the most high-brow or visceral run of gameplay as a result ;)
