Capcom have sent through word the first DLC update for Resident Evil 5 will be arriving on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace tomorrow.
Versus allows up to four players to match wits in online battles across two very different game types. Slayer's Rule is a point-based game that challenges players to kill Majinis. In Survivor's Rule, players hunt the most dangerous game, each other! Players can begin the hunt as Chris, Sheva or other secret characters, and choose from either one-on-one or two-versus-two team matches for either of the two gameplay styles.
The content will cost 400 MS points and around AU$10 on PSN.

Still don't think I'd get it though, can't really imagine using RE5's control scheme working so well for this.

Microsoft presented another way to garner revenue from the punter to games dev's and they jumped at it and they did it as a way of trying to get developers to come on board their platform. So sure, blame game companies but to make out that Microsoft don't play a role is naive.
I bought Fifa09 today and I am blown away that through the goodness of EA's heart I get auto player and team updates to 1 league for a trial period and have to pay for the privilege for other leagues to be updated.

Like I said, Microsoft aren't the real a******* here.

Still, as the consumer, you've got the power to just not buy it if you don't like it.

Need to get back into it.
