The PSP is home to some awesomely unique titles, but not many can boast the uniqueness of Patapon. A rhythm-based action/RTS hybrid with a little God Sim thrown in for good measure, the first Patapon proved a critical success.

Now we have the sequel upon us, and the foundation of what made the first game so appealing has come through in full-force. If you like your games artful, unique and mesmerising, you might want to hit this link for our full review.

I can attest that although the concept might seem incredibly inane on the surface, it's pretty damn addictive once you get going.
