Fresh out of the 2009 New York Comic-Con, Activision have sent along a
trailer and
four screenshots from Raven Software's Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion.
The first Marvel Ultimate Alliance took the successful X-Men Legends and amped it by extending the available characters to the wider Marvel Comics catalogue and Fusion looks to be introducing yet more characters and according to Lead Writer Evan Skolnick's
developer blog, promises to be a much more extensive game.
MUA2's narrative is currently projected to include about 150,000 words! That's the equivalent of six movie screenplays, or two full-length novels.
Two novels worth of game dialogue? it'd want to be well written or at least have a cut-scene skip option :)
Today's trailer confirms that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion will be focused on the Marvel Ultimate Universe's
Civil War story arc and we should be seeing it on all major home console and hand-held platforms before the end of 2009.
