EA seem to have forgotten that you're supposed to annoy gamers with a bit of cinematic and a logo when you release a 'teaser' trailer because today's clip for Crysis: Warhead actually shows off some of the game.
In Crysis Warhead, players will don the Nanosuit of Sergeant Sykes, also known as ‘Psycho’, one of the most memorable characters from Crysis. More brash and aggressive than his Delta Force squadmate Nomad, players will experience Psycho’s parallel story during the events of the original game, finding that life on the other side of the island is even more intense and explosive than they ever could have imagined. Luckily, Psycho’s Nanosuit is just as capable and he’s equipped with an even bigger arsenal of fully customizable weapons and new vehicles, giving players access to the tools they need to dominate any situation. Aside from this new, exciting single player campaign, Crysis Warhead will also feature new multiplayer content.
Hit up the AusGamers video library for the trailer, and stop by our Crysis Warhead game page for the first screenshots.

Doesn't look like it's anything new... maybe the hover boat but other than that.... pass.

If by "memorable" they mean "annoying character that didn't die", then sure.

I might pass on this, Crysis was fun for a while but became lame quickly when it went indoors.

But if I decide not to buy it, that 'lost' sale makes me a dirty pirate in Crytek's eyes right?

I read in an interview (on Kotaku I think) that this game will apparently run much better than the original. I couldn't be bothered finding the link to back up that claim.

Still, I'm not particularly interested.

If they have figured out how to optimize the engine, why haven't they patched it into the original game? (becuase they are tight arses) Why are they releasing a s***** expansion as a full game? (tightarses) Why does it look like a total rehash with nothing new? (...) etc etc

They deserve to lose money on this s***.

I don't normally e-rage (and mean it anyway) but I am honestly pretty unamazed by the attitude they are taking. They had really good support for far cry, kept patching and adding things to the engine for quite a long time, didn't try and money grub with churned out s***. Kind of sad to see them get all EA-afied.

I also read that they plan to after Warhead is out.

Just watched the trailer. Looks like more of the same.

Once you patch to 1.1+ the last areas become much much more playable. It seemed they just rushed the game out without taking the time to optimize the last parts :/.
