The AusGamers Survey that was run over the last month or so has wrapped up, and we'd like to thank everyone for participating. The feedback you provided has already proven extremely useful and we're looking to make a number of changes based on the survey and competition results.
We got a bunch of really excellent suggestions for the competition and it was hard to pick the favourites. There were a lot of great ideas along the same lines, and choosing the absolute winners was a tough call.
Big congratulations go to our three winners - BassMan and shrapse scored a Nintendo DS for their entry and merlin hooks up the Xbox 360 system. The winning entries are up on the winners page.
We have actually already started work on some of the ideas that came through and we're pretty stoked about making them happen - so keep an eye out.

Couple of other things:
1) Great to see active community members winning the big prizes. For those wondering, our judging process does not show the names alongside the entries - so there's no way for us to know who has won until we actually look up the winning entries. So it was great to see two regulars come out on top.
2) These prizes were funded directly from the ad moneyz that we get paid. We're planning to give away a lot more stuff in coming months, so please come back regularly and often and take note of the advertisers, because they're funding the stuff we're giving away.

IMO, this is not an invention of a feature, it exists on many other websites.
Tip for next time: be clearer with the competition question, eg. "What great website features should ausgamers integrate?"
