Just like the game, our review comes to you a bit late, but here nonetheless. If you're a Wii owner and have been wondering whether or not to pick this up, AusGamers has the answer for you right here. For anyone who played the original games and is still undecided on a Wii purchase, this, in the face of other forthcoming hits, could be the first real reason to have a solid look at the console - between now and the end of the year the Wii has some stellar titles on offer, and it really all begins with Super Paper Mario, so head on into our review to see what we thought of the game.

Different types of games really, I can't rate Super Paper Mario lower than Halo 3 simply because it's not an FPS - rating games like this you have to think of where it stands in its genre, how it stacks up on the console overall and then think about where it stands among games overall - in this case, I decided it wasn't quite as good as the Thousand Year Door, but the best Mario game so far on the console (bearing in mind Galaxy will be upon us soon), then, against all other games we've reviewed on here thus far, I think it got the score it deserved. But that's the point of writing a review I guess, without the explanation accompanying the score, it'd be a useless number with nothing but flaming rights :P

well that kind of stands on its own merits in that, if the game ain't fun it won't score highly in any of the aforementioned capacities. But yeah, I agree.
