Wow.. unless you are 12 you really have issues :P
What difference does it make if you golf game character looks like a photo of Tiger Woods, or a man with a big head?...
If you need special fx and overblown textures too make you visualise fun, instead of actually having it, i feel sorry for you. Dont get me wrong, im a graphics whore like the best of them, and i will allways upgrade to be able to play the newest games. But fun doesnt equal graphics. Fun equals gameplay. (remember DOOM 3? its looked great, but sucked ass..yet DOOM 2 looked s***, but rocked hard. Also Street Fighter 2.. looks s***, best game ever, Street Fighter EX plus Alpha or whatever new version? looks great but... its just not as much fun..)
same goes for the rest of you out there. as long as its fun, who cares what it looks like. And anyway, unless you have a $4000 HDTV LCD Flat, then dont even bother getting a ps3. Its still gonna look low res on your crappy low def tv. While the Wii, will look great, cos its vibrant colours and bright enviroments dont need the high res tv to look good.
